A colorful Critter Onion housing a needle felted hamster

So here is my latest little hamster I needle felted out of merino sheep's fleece and alpaca fleece. It's meant to be a toy for a child older then 5 yrs old. I put her up for sale in my BitsOfFiber shop. I have some more Critter Onions that I will be putting up for sale but I have to make some little animals to go along with them. I might put up one without any animal in it since some kids are allergic to wool. The Critter Onions are made of 100% cotton and can be used for all kinds of play fun for younger kids.

Meet Lillie an itty bitty needle felted hamster

So here she is ... Lillie an itty bitty little thing, she measures only 1 1/2 inches long! I figured I needed to make a little critter to move into this critter onion I had made.
