The MauveMoose Etsy shop

My daughter just opened her own Etsy shop today.  She named it MauveMoose and is selling catnip mice.  She will be adding more items as time moves on.  But for now here is the link http://www.etsy.com/shop/MauveMoose?ref=seller_info_count to her shop and pictures of the mice.  Aren't they cute!  Every kitty needs one of these, or a couple!

I WON!

What a great way to wake up and finding out that I'm one of the winners for the Homespunsociety treasury team challenge on Etsy.  I've been sharing with you all the treasuries I made during the last 4 days which I entered into the challenge and this is the one that won:

I want to thank the team (Homespunsociety) for promoting both of my shops all day today for being one of the winners.  Every bit of promoting helps and I'm very thankful for that.

Now I must share with you that I wasn't the only winner.  Kornelia who also owns two shops on Etsy won as well.  She makes some gorgeous jewelry so do check them out.  Here are the links to both of her shops.

And here is her treasury that also won the challenge along with mine.

4th of July Treasury challenge

Made a couple of treasuries as part of the 4th of July Treasury Challenge for the Homespunsociety Team on Etsy.  So click to your hearts content and visit all the stores presented in both these treasuries, I bet ya you will find some new favorites amongst them.

Vanilla cupcake hat with a strawberry on top

I love cupcakes!  The real ones and the knitted or crocheted ones.  I love them all.  My daughter bakes the best cupcakes from scratch.  Her dream is to open a cupcakery sometime down the road.  For me, I'm much better at knitting or crocheting cupcakes.  I do ask her advise on how to top them off, a strawberry or a cherry ... or something else.  So, per her suggestion here is my latest one ... a vanilla with vanilla frosting and a strawberry on top.  It's for sale in my Bitsoffiber etsy shop.  If you click on the link below the picture it will take you right to it.  Next will be a red velvet, with vanilla frosting and I'm not sure yet what the topping will be.
