There are mice in the house!

All of our feline friends need one of these so check them out, we got one (or two or three or more) for every kind of kitty cat.  We even have a rough and tough kind for the tomcat.  That one we figured is perfect to give to like your boyfriend, husband, dad, brother or whomever who doesn't care for frilly things for his cat so the one made out of jeans material would be perfect for him.  I personally think the tie dye one is really cool but then again I used to be a wanna-be hippy back in the days so that's probably why.

We (my daughter and I) make these also without catnip so for those of you who don't want to expose your kitty to the catnip that's an option.  These that are made without the catnip also make great toys for kids to play with.  They make for really cute pocket pets.  Every kid needs a mouse in his or her pocket!  We can make them in different colors just shoot us an e-mail with what it is you are looking for and we will try to fulfill your request(s).

So here are the latest ones we've added to the shop:

This one does NOT have catnip and can be a child toy.

A lion hat, an itty bitty duck and a toadstool brooch

Last couple items I've added to my shop today.

A little bright hat to cheer you up!

Yeah, finished another little hat which I had knitted before my surgery ... just needed to add some bobbles.  I figured with having to get my shoulder fixed I wouldn't be able to knit for a bit so I knitted and crocheted a bunch of items ahead of time and left the finishing touches for doing after the surgery.  I must say ... this is working out very well.  I am able to knit a little bit at a time right now, it's been two weeks since the surgery.  And yeahhhhh, I can type using both my hands now.  Still have to take it easy.  I can tell this healing is going to take a long time.

Anyways, here is the little bright apple green hat I just listed in my shop.  I'm working on finishing up another one which is for a smaller baby, more like a newborn to 3 month old.  That one is a dark moss green and will have off white crocheted buttons on it with red thread in the middle.  Not sure yet what will be on the top, either a tassel or something else.

This little hat has been sold

Sandy and a blue scarf

Thank God Sandy came and went.  We were lucky she didn't leave us with any damages which certainly can not be said for lots of other folks.  So sorry for all the damage she left behind.  I can only imagine how I would feel when my property got destroyed or a loved one got injured or passed away because of Mother Nature having a fit.  I send my best wishes to those of you who are affected by Sandy's visit and hope somehow you can get back on track and move on.

My arm seems to be doing ok or maybe I'm just getting used to wearing this sling.  I do have to be careful not to forget to take my arm out of that thing and do my exercises.  I can see where that would be a big issue down the road trying to get all my muscles to work properly again.  Now today I'm typing with both hands, yeahhhh.  Except I have to sit funny in my chair to be able to reach the keyboard with my slinged arm, but hey I manage.

I added a couple of scarves, a crocheted and felted make believe cake (or pincushion) and a felted little purse to my shop a couple of days ago.  Still have lots more items I haven't listed but that's a good thing. So for now here are photo's of the items I listed.

One is a knitted blue tube scarf which looks really darling on a young adult or child.  Here is the link to it: http://www.etsy.com/listing/113588165/knitted-blue-tube-scarf-teener-scarf

The next one is a red polar fleece scarf on which I needle felted a cat family.  They all are wearing colars which have little beads sewed on.  Really cute for a child, young adult or a grown up who loves kitty cats!   Makes for a great warm holiday present!  Here is the link to it:  http://www.etsy.com/listing/113381010/red-needle-felted-fleece-scarf-cat-scarf

Here is the knitted and felted make believe cake or you can purchase it as a pincushion for a person who likes to sew!  Here is the link to it: http://www.etsy.com/listing/113344031/crocheted-felted-pretend-play-cake

The other item is a small felted purse which can be used for all kinds of stuff.  You can use it as a cell phone carrier, use it to store jewelry in, can be a coin carrier, etc.   Here is the link to it: http://www.etsy.com/listing/113347079/felted-embroidered-pouch-felted-little

Thanks for stopping by!
