Seasonal kitty cat toys and wishing for cooler days
I'm soooooo tired of this hot and sticky weather. Makes me want to jump on a plane and move to Finland. I visited Finland a couple of years ago in the middle of winter and stayed in Lapland. You see I love the snow and cold weather and I must say Finland did not disappoint me. Warmest month in Lapland is July with highest temps to be around 60F (15.5C) which sounds lovely to me. Only thing I'd be worried about is mosquitoes in summer. Anyways, I don't think I'll be moving there but one can dream of cooler days ahead ... even in Virginia, USA.

Finally got to see reindeer!
So I guess thinking of the cooler days ahead I've started working on making more cat toys. Here are some of them I've put in the MauveMoose Etsy shop. Just an FYI ... since I no longer have a Joanne Fabric store down the street from me it will be harder to get the fabrics I liked to make the cat toys so if you see anything you like in the shop don't wait to buy it since I'm running out of fabric on a lot of these.
